Amperion’s Experience
Completed seventeen hybrid communication network deployments in twelve countries.
Active in number of smart grid projects enabling
advanced meter reading and distribution automation over
an IP network.
Engaged in a joint R&D project with AEP and DOE's
National Energy Technology Laboratory developing a
communication solution for transmission and distribution
sub-stations using BPL over High Voltage (HV) transmission
lines.
Created an extensive networking technology and patent
portfolio through our innovative R&D approach. Amperion
is the sole owner of the base BPL patent portfolio covering
all forms of broadband transmissions above 1 MHz on MV
and HV power lines.

Amperion's comprehensive network design service is based on solid

Network Deployment
Amperion's deployment services include the staging, installation, and
testing of network equipment according to an approved design plan.
