Amperion’s couplers are available for overhead and underground networks in various line rates. The coupler type and model is selected based on the line rate application.

Amperion’s couplers are based on inductive, capacitive and a hybrid of capacitive and inductive coupling technologies. Amperion’s coupler technology is protected by multiple patents: US11/344,775, US11/345,623 and US10/261,364.

All Amperion couplers passed utility safety tests and are designed to be installed on an un-energized or energized line with proper equipment.
