The Amperion Eagle™ is a carrier class, outdoor wireless repeater that is an integral component in the Amperion PowerWiFi™ hybrid solution. The PowerWiFi™ hybrid solution is our unique and robust broadband network architecture that blends Broadband over Power Line (BPL) and WiFi to provide cost-effective broadband access and superior end-toend QoS for Voice, Video and Data.

Flexible wireless coverage
The Eagle utilizes high power 802.11a/b/g radios along with directional and omni-directional antennas (optional accessories) for providing the best wireless coverage and penetration possible.

Designed for harsh environments
The Eagle is designed for harsh conditions and has been proven throughout North America, Asia and Europe. With a ruggedized and weatherproof NEMA enclosure, the Eagle works tirelessly in tough environments. The Eagle supports an optional Battery Backup Unit (to be ordered separately) for continuing operations during power failures.

Toll quality VoIP
The Eagle uses priority queues to ensure that the VoIP calls are of the highest quality. When used with the Amperion Griffin on an Amperion PowerWiFi™ network, you get the twin benefit of Wireless convenience and impeccable quality of BPL.

Low CapEx
The Eagle is architected to allow easy upgrade of hardware and software using pluggable components. This reduces CapEx costs when upgrading technology in the fast changing wireless market.

Manageability
The Eagle is easy to manage and provides HTTPS, SNMPv2c, and SSH CLI management. Amperion also offers the Amperion GroundStation™, which is a network management system designed for the Amperion PowerWiFi™ solution.
