Martin Wyant, General Manager of PUC Telecom, received the IT Executive of the Year Award as part of the SSMARt (Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma Region) IT Awards held on September 22 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

The award recognized the innovative efforts of Martin and PUC Telecom to bring the Amperion BPL solution to the Sault Ste. Marie area. This is a well-deserved recognition that shows how much the community values what they have done to bring BPL to that region. The leadership that Martin has shown has resulted in technology and economic development improvements for the region.

Amperion is proud to be working together with PUC Telecom to provide the very first access BPL deployment in Canada. We look forward to continuing these cooperative efforts to enable further broadband access and smart grid utility applications in Ontario.
